This session will explore the options of course design with Canvas and interactive features. Samples will be presented by experienced faculty members with instructional design expertise. Participants are encouraged to bring your own Canvas course for hands-on fine-tuning.

Instructional Design Virtual Workshop Series
As part of JMU Libraries’ mission to support teaching and learning, this series of workshops focus on instructional design strategies and practice. Making informed and pedagogical selection and use of technologies, being aware of accessibility features, and applying intentional instructional design can enhance the presence of class members, interactivity in learning engagement, and including users of ALL abilities.
Each workshop in this series is a stand-alone session. Pick and choose what suits your interest and needs.
The outcome, when completing all workshops in this series, is to build an essential foundation of instructional design.
